This is series of portraits of people in Cuba. The atmosphere in Cuba is very picturesque, so photographs looks like Renaissance paintings.

Also this country is going through a kind of personal renaissance - rebirth. 
These portraits are very intimate - each is a spot inside a private life of a person. I felt like peeking when making these portraits. This is the reason why I've chosen circular spot composition - to emphasize that feeling.
